| Promote your favourite sailing spot
There must be folks out there who have favourite sailing spots in this great State of Victoria.
One problem I personally have found, is the lack of a suitable place to sail closer to home than I currently have.
Ideally required would be a water surface or sailable water area of say 1/2 of an acre or bigger. But that is only a guide. Smaller areas would most definitely be considered as appropriate.
If anyone knows of any areas that might meet this criteria, in any part of the State, why not post a message here. You never know. Next time you go for a sail you might have someone else to share your hobby/sport with.
Or if there are any landholder's who have dams or other water catchment areas that might be suitable, you input would be most appreciated.
Model radio yachts do not pollute any water supply in which they might sail. Access can be restricted as appropriate if on private property, or made freely available to the public as a promotional exercise for councils', shires', etc.

Oops, nearly forgot to mention. the depth of the water only needs to be a minimum of 300 mm, (12 inches old scale), if you are happy to have any of the Australia II look-a-like boats sail in your waters. Most of these boats are in the range of 1.5 metres to about 2.5 metres in height, so they would certainly present a spectacle, whilst still needing only minimum depth to provide an interest, and enjoyment for persons with a variety on interests.
